Using Illustrative Animation to Reinforce Business Economics Concepts

CHALLENGE

What is the most engaging way to explain the Business Economics concept of the endowment effect? How can we show this in a more visual and storytelling way to engage students? Is there a different way to show this concept besides having a professor speak on a white background?

OUTCOME

A lively, colorful and illustrative motion graphics explainer video to engage students. Each scene looks like it could be part of a picture book. The professor explains the endowment effect with using an example with the price of airline tickets - so imagery consisted of airplanes flying through clouds, over whimsical patterned fields, and scenes from an airport.
